The official FAQ describes controller support as limited in the current PC version. That is not a guarantee of full controller-only play across every menu, vehicle and device.
What the developer says
The official FAQ, checked September 13, describes limited support. In an earlier developer video, BULKHEAD also discussed partial controller support and a small amount of aim assistance.
That video does not establish the current strength of aim assistance or an exact recommended configuration for Xbox, DualSense or other controllers.
What to check with your controller
Support may vary by controller and action. Check these interactions with your setup:
- Wired and wireless behavior for your exact controller model.
- Menu navigation and purchasing equipment without a keyboard.
- Infantry controls, driving and flying.
- Steam Input enabled versus disabled, and custom rebinding.
If an input does not work
Record your controller model, wired or wireless connection, Steam Input setting and game build. Describe the exact menu or action that fails, and whether keyboard input still works.
Include those details when reporting the issue to the official community.
